Welcome!
Holistic Minds is a mental health and wellness practice grounded in care, cultural awareness, and connection. I am a registered social worker offering individual sessions, group spaces, consulting, and community-based work that honours the full complexity of the human experience.
My work is eclectic and client-centred, weaving together clinical and somatic-informed approaches that best support and honour each individual’s healing, growth, and wellbeing. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all — it is shaped by identity, lived experience, community, and nervous system safety.
At Holistic Minds, care is thoughtful, emotionally attuned, and rooted in respect. Whether you are seeking personal support, collective healing, or organizational care, this is a space where clients come first and safety is held at the centre.
Holistic Minds is committed to serving the diverse communities of Thunder Bay, with particular intention toward supporting BIPOC individuals and communities. All are welcome here, and care is rooted in cultural humility, respect, and lived experience.
“My work is eclectic and client-centred honouring each individual’s healing, growth, and wellbeing.”
Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)
Recognizing the impact of systemic inequities, intergenerational trauma, and identity-based stress. Therapy is grounded in respect, empowerment, and collaboration, centring your voice, strengths, and healing goals.
Identity and Connection to Self
A supportive space to explore, understand, and affirm your sense of self. Helping individuals navigate questions of identity, build self-awareness, and foster confidence in expressing who you are.
Major Life Transitions
Career changes, relocation, relationship shifts even loss, can feel overwhelming and disorienting. I provide a steady, supportive space to process change, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
ADHD and Neurodivergence
Strength-based, affirming care to better understand how your brain works while navigating challenges like focus, emotional regulation, and burnout. Together, we build practical strategies that support self-compassion, autonomy, and everyday functioning, on your terms.
CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY (ONTARIO)
Your privacy and trust are deeply respected at Holistic Minds. All services are provided in accordance withOntario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the professional standards governing social work practice. Personal information shared in sessions is kept confidential and securely stored. Information is only disclosed with your informed consent, or when legally required to do so (such as situations involving risk of serious harm or child protection concerns). These limits to confidentiality are discussed clearly and thoughtfully at the start of services. Care is always guided by respect, transparency, and a commitment to your safety and wellbeing.
ANTI-BLACK RACISM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Holistic Minds acknowledges the ongoing impacts of anti-Black racism, colonialism, and systemic inequities on the mental health and wellbeing of Black communities. This practice is committed to creating spaces where Black clients feel seen, respected, and safe, and where the realities of anti-Black racism are named rather than minimized. This includes an ongoing responsibility to reflect, learn, and act in ways that challenge harm and centre dignity, care, and accountability.
