Group & Individual, Community & Consulting, lets forward wellness

GROUP SESSIONS

Our group therapy sessions are thoughtfully structured to create a supportive and meaningful experience. Sessions run 75–90 minutes, allowing time for grounding, reflection, and shared dialogue. Groups are intentionally small, typically with 6–10 participants, to foster safety, connection, and genuine participation. Some groups are mixed-gender, while others are women-centred or identity-specific, including BIPOC-focused spaces, with each group clearly outlining who it is designed for. Together, participants explore themes such as emotional wellbeing, identity, boundaries, relationships, stress, grief, and healing in community—guided by a facilitator while remaining responsive to what the group brings. Groups may be offered virtually or in person and usually run as a short series of 4–8 weeks, meeting weekly or bi-weekly. To support trust, continuity, and deeper emotional safety, groups are offered as closed series rather than drop-in sessions.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

My counselling work supports individuals navigating racialized trauma, major life transitions, ADHD and neurodivergence, and identity development. This may include processing the impacts of racism and systemic harm, working through periods of change or uncertainty, understanding and supporting a neurodivergent nervous system, and exploring identity across culture, race, gender, and different life stages. This work is offered with particular care for BIPOC clients, while remaining inclusive of the diverse identities, cultures, and experiences that make up the Thunder Bay community. My approach is eclectic, integrative, and somatic-informed, drawing from a range of clinical modalities and embodied practices that are adapted to each client’s unique needs, lived experience, and goals. All work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in care. Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length, with extended sessions available when appropriate.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Clinical supervision is offered to social workers and helping professionals seeking a supportive, reflective, and ethically grounded space to deepen their practice. My approach to supervision is collaborative, client-centered, and integrative, drawing on clinical expertise, lived experience, and reflective practice. Sessions focus on developing clinical skills, supporting ethical decision-making, fostering professional growth, and increasing nervous system awareness, while holding space for the realities of identity, power, and burnout in this work. Supervision is available individually or in small groups, and can be offered virtually or in person. Session length and structure are determined collaboratively to best meet your professional needs.

CONSULTING

Consulting supports organizations and teams in creating mentally healthy, emotionally aware, and sustainable spaces through education, facilitated dialogue, and practical tools. Sessions are offered virtually or in person and may include workshops, training, or facilitated conversations, ranging from 60 to 120 minutes, with half-day and full-day options available. No preparation is required unless noted in advance, as all materials and guidance are provided. This consulting is well-suited for non-profits, schools, wellness brands, community organizations, corporate teams, and creative collectives.

COMMUNITY ADVOCACY

At Holistic Minds, Community Advocacy focuses on mental health education, awareness, and connection through events, collaborations, and community-led conversations. People can get involved by attending events, partnering on initiatives, or participating in community offerings as they arise. Some initiatives are hosted directly by Holistic Minds, while others are offered in partnership with community organizations. Updates about upcoming events are shared through the website, mailing list, and social platforms.

ANTI-BLACK RACISM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
